We’re a small team of creative explorers from Europe who’ve made Asia our home base—living where the sun shines and the ideas sparkle. Operating under a 100% founder-owned American company, we’ve blended our love for beautiful things, clever inventions, and joyful surprises into one shiny place. No big investors, no corporate fluff. Just people who care about people. That includes you.

What do you do, exactly?

We travel the world—physically, digitally, and occasionally through trade show wormholes—to discover inventions, innovations, and brilliant ideas that make your day a little more whoa. Then we bring them to you, curated with a sharp eye for quality and a soft spot for the inner child in all of us. New treasures every week. Gift ideas that spark joy. No boring allowed.

What if I cannot find my fav color or size?

Oh no, color crisis! If an item is missing a variant you love, it might be out of stock—or not yet available. Drop us a message! We’re sometimes able to source special requests or give you a heads-up if it’s coming back. We’re like the helpful elves of the internet.

I found a cool product online. Can I buy it from you?

Absolutely! If you found some amazing ShinyObject but don't know where and how to purchase it, we can SherlockHolmes it for you and make it available. We found a sleek little hack for that: Simply copy our website URL www.ShinyObjects.Shop into the "ENGLISH" window of https://translate.google.com and choose your own language as the result. Then you click on the domain in your language field and voila: you can enjoy SOS in your own language. 🤩 Cool, hm?

3. Payment & Security

Is it safe to shop here?

Safer than a panda in a bubble wrap factory. We use encrypted checkout technology and work only with trusted payment providers like Shopify Payments, Apple Pay, and major credit cards. Your data is protected. Always.

What payment methods do you accept?

Most of them! Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and a few others. If you're still paying with magic beans or barter trade, we might need to chat. Also if you only have PayPal. We don't really like them, and we only do business with companies and people we trust and like. On the other hand: if you live in the 🌓Philippines (like us, yay!), you can pay us in Gcash or direct bank transfer, even via Palawan Pawnshop. Let's talk! [email protected]

Can I pay in my local currency?

Yes! Our system auto-detects your location and shows you prices in your local currency whenever possible. If you still see USD, no worries—your bank will handle the conversion smoothly.

My payment failed—what now?

First, double-check your card info and make sure you didn’t mistype your secret numbers. If everything looks right, try another card or payment method. Still stuck? Ping us and we’ll help sort it out fast: [email protected]

4. Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship to?

Pretty much everywhere with a mailbox. We offer worldwide shipping, with tracking included on most orders. If your country is excluded, it’s usually due to customs restrictions—but ask us just in case! [email protected]

How much does shipping cost?

It varies depending on your location and the items you order. Often, we offer free or discounted shipping on specific promos or bundles. You’ll always see the exact shipping cost at checkout—no hidden fees.

How long will it take to receive my order?

It depends on where you are and what you ordered. Some items come from the US, others from Asia or Europe. Most deliveries take 7–15 business days. Some items ship faster, some a bit slower (especially custom pieces which of course take a few more days to be actually produced for you). We’ll email you tracking info the moment it’s on its way. In some cases we even offer insurance and speed-up options that of course cost a few bucks more. But if it's your favorite mom's big day this extra expense might make sense. šŸ˜ We always give our best so that you can give yours.

Processing takes 1-2 business days (a bit longer for personalized items, of course) and shipping depends highly on 3 factors:
- where YOU are in the world
- which kind of product this is (because of customs and modes of transportation)
- where our warehouse facility and shipping center for this specific product might be.

Some of our products are shipped from the United States, some from Europe, some from Asia. 

So there are a lot of moving parts in this equation. Impossible to give a general promise here.
A rough (!) estimate is: For most products and delivery options, expect something between 5 and 15 business days. In any case: We will give you a more precise estimate during checkout - and a tracking number so you always know what's going on. 

Can I track my order?

Absolutely. The second your parcel flies the nest, we’ll send you a tracking number to your eMail on file. You can follow it like a hawk—or a very excited squirrel. If for some reason you can not find that first eMail, it might have been dropped into spam or promo because of your over-cautious eMail provider. In this case, please whitelist our eMail sender address so that never happens again. Here's a little How-to article about how to do that in Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook etc.

What if my package is lost or delayed?

We’ve got your back. If your order seems MIA, contact us: [email protected]. We'll trace it, replace it, or refund you—whichever makes the most sense. You won't be left hanging.

5. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

What’s your return policy?

If you're not 100% happy, neither are we. You can return most items within 30 days of receipt, provided they’re unused and in original condition and packaging. Personalized or custom-made items may be excluded—see details at checkout.

How do I request a return?

Easy. Just email us at [email protected] with your order number and reason. We'll guide you through it. No judgment, no drama. We are all friends here. And we wanna make you happy for as long as you decide to stay our customer. Ideally for life. So you really don't have to expect any trouble or problems. If you stay cool, so do we. šŸ˜Ž

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

In most cases, yes—but if the item was damaged, defective, or we messed up (it happens!), we’ll cover it. Fair’s fair. Before you just send it back (don't do that please!), please mail us first at [email protected] and we guide you through.

How long do refunds take?

Once we’ve received and inspected the item, we’ll process your refund—usually within 3–5 business days. The banks might take another few days to show it on your statement. They often take their own sweet time šŸ™„ but there's nothing we can do about it. ĀÆ\_(惄)_/ĀÆ 

Can I exchange an item?

Sure thing. Reach out to us first so we can confirm availability. If it’s a size or color swap, we’ll help you make the switch as smoothly as possible.
